Alerts are Upbit's published values, fetched through this site's server (cached up to 60 seconds). Price and change are for KRW markets only; Upbit's "vs previous close" resets at 09:00 KST. "First seen" is not in the API: it is the time this device recorded while the page was open, so the real designation may be earlier.

What Upbit's alerts mean

Upbit, Korea's largest crypto exchange, puts two kinds of alerts on its markets and publishes them in its public API (the market_event field of the market list). This page shows those values as they are. The explanations below are based on Upbit's developer documentation and notices; Upbit does not publish the numeric thresholds, so none are given here.

Under review and caution are different things

Designated for review warning
Upbit designates a coin when it is reviewing whether to keep supporting trading. Deposits are usually suspended, the project gets a period to respond, and Upbit then announces a release, an extension or the end of trading support. Once trading ends the coin cannot be sold on Upbit and has to be withdrawn by the announced deadline. This is the most serious label.
Caution alert caution
An automatic alert when price or trading behaves unusually. It is one or more of the five types below and is removed when things calm down. Since 29 January 2026 Upbit's app and website show caution in three levels (caution, warning, danger), but the public API only says on or off, so this page cannot show the level.

The five caution types

Price swings PRICE_FLUCTUATIONS
The price rose or fell sharply in a short time. It does not tell you the next direction, and moves this fast often reverse just as fast. Coins listed less than 96 hours ago are judged from their opening price.
Volume surge TRADING_VOLUME_SOARING
Trading volume jumped well above normal. Attention is high, but short-term money often arrives and leaves all at once. Coins listed less than 96 hours ago are excluded because there is nothing to compare with.
Deposit surge DEPOSIT_AMOUNT_SOARING
Much more of the coin than usual is being deposited into Upbit from outside. Coins are often moved to an exchange to be sold, so selling pressure can rise. Coins listed less than 96 hours ago are excluded.
Domestic vs global price gap GLOBAL_PRICE_DIFFERENCES
Upbit's price is far from the global average (Upbit uses CoinMarketCap data). Transfers chasing the gap can make the price jump around, and the gap can close at any time.
Small-account concentration CONCENTRATION_OF_SMALL_ACCOUNTS
A few top accounts made up a large share of buying while the price rose, or of selling while it fell. The price is easy for a handful of traders to move.

What this tool does

Collects the market alerts Upbit, Korea's largest crypto exchange, publishes in its public API and shows in one table which coins are designated for review (Upbit is deciding whether to keep supporting trading) and which carry a caution alert: price swings, a volume surge, a deposit surge, a domestic vs global price gap, or concentration in a few accounts. KRW markets also show price, change vs previous close and 24-hour trading value, and this device records when it saw each alert appear and disappear. Each alert is explained in plain words, including where the risk lies.

How it is calculated

The alerts are the market_event values in Upbit's Open API market list (market/all?isDetails=true). warning = true means designated for review; a caution alert is any of PRICE_FLUCTUATIONS, TRADING_VOLUME_SOARING, DEPOSIT_AMOUNT_SOARING, GLOBAL_PRICE_DIFFERENCES or CONCENTRATION_OF_SMALL_ACCOUNTS set to true. This site's server fetches the list from Upbit and shares it with all visitors for 60 seconds (returning only markets with an alert), and the page fetches it again every minute. Price, change vs previous close (signed_change_rate, day starting 09:00 KST) and 24-hour value (acc_trade_price_24h) are fetched every 15 seconds through the same relay, for flagged KRW markets only. The '/ n' figure is the number of markets in Upbit's KRW price list. The API has no designation time, so this browser stores, per market and alert, when it first saw the alert on and when it last checked before that, and shows the time as 'between' the two; alerts already on when you first opened the page show as 'before' that time. Cleared alerts stay in the 'cleared' list for 7 days with the last time seen on and the time the clearing was seen. The default sort puts review designations first, then the number of alerts and trading value.

Things to know

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between 'under review' and 'caution'?

Under review (유의 종목) means Upbit is deciding whether to keep supporting trading in the coin. Deposits are usually suspended, and after a response period Upbit announces a release, an extension or the end of trading support. Caution (주의 종목) is an automatic market alert for unusual price, volume, deposits, domestic vs global price gaps or concentration in a few accounts, and it is lifted when things calm down. Under review is far more serious.

Should I avoid coins with a caution alert?

This page does not tell you to buy or sell. An alert only says the coin is behaving unusually right now. It helps to know that sharp swings and volume surges often reverse just as fast, that a deposit surge can mean coins arriving to be sold, and that a price gap can close at any time.

Why can't it show exactly when an alert started?

Upbit's public API only says whether an alert is on now, not when it was set. So this page records what this device saw. If an alert was off at a check at 2:00 pm and on at 2:01 pm, it shows 'around 2:01 pm' (the gap is under 5 minutes); if it was already on when you first opened the page, it shows 'before' that time.

Why do BTC and USDT markets have no price?

Prices come from Upbit's full KRW price list (shared server cache). Alerts on BTC and USDT markets are still shown, with 'KRW only' in the price column. The price-gap alert is judged with each market's own price, so the same coin can have it on one market and not another.

For information only, not investment advice. Alerts and prices come from Upbit's public API through this site's server and may be delayed or interrupted. Upbit does not publish the numeric thresholds. Check Upbit's notices for the exact reasons and dates.
